On September 29, the High Tech Inventors Alliance sent a letter to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) in support of their new legislation, the Restoring the America Invents Act (RAIA). The letter thanks the Senators, who introduced the bill on September 29, for their leadership and praises the legislation which intends to restore the integrity and intended operation of AIA proceedings, to ensure high standards for U.S. patents, and to provide the legal predictability that sustains investment in American innovation and manufacturing.
